The Bamboost® is a mobile marketplace designed to connect small bamboo farmers and enterprises with a wider audience, it leverages technology to bridge the gap between producers and potential buyers.It is also a platform for promoting sustainability. By featuring eco-friendly, science and technology (S&T)-based bamboo products, the app encourages consumers to choose sustainable options. This, in turn, supports the broader environmental goals of reducing carbon footprints and promoting green economies. The technology evolved from the thesis study of TTPD-PCAARRD staff, Ms. Analiza Diaz,and is now a full-blown project through the collaborative effort between the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) and the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippine-Cagayan de Oro (USTP-CDO).
