This project aims to develop a geo-database of ITPs. Specifically, to map the species types, location and extent of ITPs by applying machine learning techniques to available RS datasets; to develop an online/web-based GIS database of ITP types, location and extent integrated with other spatial and non-spatial datasets; to determine areas suitable for establishing new ITPs through conduct of suitability analysis with the use of GIS database; and, to conduct accessibility and efficiency analysis of log production flow from source to processing plants to its marketers and distributors with the use of GIS database.
