The “FIESTA” or Farmers and Industry Encounters through Science and Technology Agenda aims to provide an avenue for the promotion and dissemination, adoption, or commercialization of technologies developed by the member institutions. Farmers, PMAs, partner NGOs, private sector partners, entrepreneurs, students, technologists, researchers, media practitioners, and other stakeholders are gathered in events held in Roxas City and aligned with the celebration of “Sinadya sa Halaran,” a local festivity of the City of Roxas. The project is composed of activities on the four banner commodities: Darag Native Chicken, Bamboo, Mango, and Muscovado Sugar. One of the highlights is the Techno Forum on Mango, which tackled Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and Postharvest Quality Management (PQM).
