The Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center (SEAFDEC), University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV), and SSU in collaboration with DOST-PCAARRD, improves local production and ensures safe and quality oyster harvest. The pouch and tray methods produce uniform weight, quality meat, and meat yield of 27–29% higher than that of the traditional method that produces only 14.5– 18.9% meat yield. These methods result in an increase in survival from 80-85% to 96-99%.
