SEAFDEC, UPV, and Samar State University (SSU), in collaboration with DOST-PCAARRD, improves local production and ensures safe and quality oyster harvest. The pouch and tray methods produce uniform weight, quality meat, and meat yield of 27ā29% higher than that of the traditional method that produces only 14.5ā 18.9% meat yield. These methods result in an increase in survival by 96ā99%.
