It is accurate, faster, user-friendly and convenient diagnosis using the developed detection kit, compared to the time consuming and lesser user-friendly conventional diagnosis. Farmers themselves can now be fully equipped with reliable information as to the existence/occurrence of any pathogenic bacterial pathogen in their culture operation. With the developed immuno-assay diagnostic kit using nanotechnology, the tilapia farmers can become proactive against possible disease outbreaks in their tilapia production, thus, enabling them to mitigate such effect before major disease problems will occur.
